Item 1 of the table in Section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

Australian Tax Office endorses ChaplainWatch Inc to be a 4.1.7 Charitable Services Institution and a Deductible Gift Recipient under Item 1 of the table in Section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

The ATO endorses ChaplainWatch Inc to access the following tax concessions

5 (a) Income tax exemptions from 2 July 2007 under Subdivision 50-B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.

5 (B)   GST concessions from 2 July 2007 under Division 176 of A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999.

5 (C) FBT rebate from 2 July 2007 under Section 123E of the Fringe Benefits Tax Assessment  Act 1986.

ChaplainWatch is a charitable faith-based community service organisation. Founded in 2001, by Pastor Lance Mergard, ChaplainWatch has made it’s home on the streets and in the entertainment precincts of Brisbane, where  we strive to continuously and intentionally achieve our mission, ‘watching out for you when good times go bad’.

ChaplainWatch seeks to intentionally intervene in areas of human need with an approach that recognises essential dignity and worth of each person – this guides our service delivery in each of our four project areas: ChaplainWatch, NightWatch, StreetWatch, LifeWatch.
